Great fun. Look forward to sharing it with my grandchildren
Our 6 year old is a super fussy eater but she thrives from positive reinforcement. When I heard about Belly Bugs, we had to try it. We’re on day 2 and she’s already had 3 fruit and veggies from the chart. She’s excited to put more stars on it tomorrow! Fingers crossed this is the way forward.
My kids loved this book and it helped us bring the life the importance of healthy eating. Highly recommend!
I paid to get this sent to NZ because I was so desperate to get my 3 year old to eat more than just peanut butter on toast and blueberries. He is still reluctant to eat lots of things, but we often talk about what his belly bugs are going to build out of what he's eating and what they could make from the veggies on his plate. Seeing as he's only 3, I'm not too bothered by him not suddenly being excited to eat a piece of broccoli, but this book has definitely gently introduced the concept of plant foods being good for our bodies, and sugary treats being not so good for us, which I imagine will help him to develop healthy eating habits as he gets older. Highly recommend this book to all parents!!
Really fun book, excellent at explaining the importance of gut health to youngsters. 5 year old adores it and is loving putting the stickers on the wall chart
